Ann-Christine Nyquist, MD, MSPH is the Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Control Program and the Medical Director for Occupational Health at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Dr. Nyquist is board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases. She is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Sections of Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and holds a secondary appointment in the Colorado School of Public Health in the Department of Community and Behavioral Health. She additionally serves as Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion within the School of Medicine and holds multiple national committee appointments with the American Association of Medical Colleges related to that role. She recently served for four years as the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS) liaison to the SHEA board and is now a member-at-large on the PIDS board of directors. Her research and clinical interest focuses in healthcare epidemiology, influenza, vaccinations and methods to prevent nosocomial infections.
